A day with "Poppy"

Saturday is a special day...and especially when James (aka "poppy." James as a little voice for Mason and that is what he has Mason refer to him as.) gets to play with us! Hot dog! We frolicked all day long as a family. As luck would have it, the day was nice and warm, and so we headed off to the duck pond to feed the ducks...along with the rest of the city. After we realized that the ducks would have NOTHING to do with us, we headed off to play at a nearby park and let Mason enjoy his first swing experience! Man, the older they get, the more fun they are! After that, we went grocery shopping. Mason usually does not enjoy this activity, but for the first time, we let him sit in the cart instead of stay in his carrier. He was in hog heaven. I know that it is such a little thing, but I just got SUCH a kick out of seeing my little man so grown up!

James and Mason before they realized that the ducks were to good for them.

Yeah for swings!

The care-free life of a child. :)
so cute!!!
