Okay, this is my second try to show off our new home. I don't know why my blog doesn't like me! I guess I have been playing hard to get lately, but that really is no excuse. Anywho, here are some pictures of our new place. After two years of living on Stubbs, we decided to say goodbye to the ghetto and move closer to campus. The only downside was that we had to leave our ward friends and good neighbors....Truthfully, we were pleased to say adios to the odd knife thrower across the street and the "ice cream" truck that frequented our street late at night and only sold to adults. Hmm.... At any rate, we LOVE our new home! I even love it so much that I can overlook the fact that they tricked me into thinking that we had a dishwasher! D'oh!!!
Here is the front of our home. James is really excited to do some yard work to spruce it up.
This is our front room. We have since painted it twice. An accidental coat of primary lemon yellow and then we toned it down with the shade, "Uplifting," which is basically a lighter yellow.
Our bedroom has all kinds of odd nooks. Layton claimed this one for his bed. Notice our fancy wallpaper. I fall asleep every night inches away from exciting maps of the world. So many places to explore!
Mason now has his room all put together, but for the first day, he had to improvise. He got tuckered out with all the moving and painting. Poor chap. :)
