The boys gathered around and built a fire in the fireplace with Grandpa to start up the festivities. My family was lucky enough to be joined with my aunt and her family from nearby. What fun! Sadly, my cousin, Alisa, was away having an adventure in Spain so she couldn't celebrate the holiday with us (but we were thinking of her). We had a yummy dinner and then sang songs and read the story of the Nativity. To top off the night, we danced circles around the house to "Sleigh Ride"...all except for my scrooge husband, who has still not embraced this family tradition.
My grandma is so beautiful!

Mason and I sat at the cool table.
Mason was wowed by my dad's guitar skills.
