This past Saturday, Mason had a happy little shopping excursion together. We went to the farmers market(absolutely LOVE it!!!!)where we got a BUNCH of great produce, and then headed off to target. Mason has been needing new shoes for a while. Up to this point, he was either barefoot (we miss you Summer time) or in those little leather slipper shoe-things. I figured some type of sneaker would do my little boy good and so we strolled on over to the shoe section. This is where we found his beloved little size 6 1/2 pair....right in the middle of the clearance section! They have a transformer on the side (ugly) but they were only $4(beautiful)!!! We snagged a couple for his ever growing ski-feet. He was pleased as punch with his find and proudly strutted his stuff in front of the group of kids nearby. I didn't have the heart to tell him that it isn't that cool to wear shoes with the elastic still tying the shoes together. And I really didn't think he needed to know that the transformers were SO last season. Mason doesn't have a chance with James and I as his parents.....
I don't know why, but seeing our little guy in his big clod-hoppers sorta makes James and I feel sad. He is getting so old. Lucky for me, Mason still likes to snuggle-buggle. We love him so much.
Now that he has them, all he wants to do is go outside and use them!
Gleeful Mason!
Since regular concrete is old news, Mason only wants to walk on the snow and ice. Very fun, I assure you.
