Hot Dog!!!!

It's official! We went to the doctor today and got to see our new little one on the way! The ultrasound measured us at about 11 weeks along. So we have quite a while. But a happy while. This pregnancy has been SO much easier than my usual (I found that if I go for a run, I am not as pukey. Who knows if that's it, maybe it is a girl), so I can't complain too much. The due date is October 18th but they will schedule a c-section for the 13th. However, Mason came three weeks early, so we'll see how things end up.
Our doctor is really nice, but he is not giving me as special treatment as I got with Mason. For that reason, we have to wait till we are about 20 weeks along like normal people have to find out the gender. Before I got to see a prenatal specialist to monitor our baby's bone development, and as a result, we had the fanciest of fancy ultrasounds and got to have them early on. I guess we will still be monitored, but he figures that we have plenty of time and should start when the baby is bigger. Bleh. Me no likey. Because we have to wait to find out the gender anyway, we figure that it would be fun to really wait. As of now, we are going to wait till the little miss/chap is born and just pick out two names for the surprise.
Anyway, we Siegs are pleased as punch to have another little Mason/Masonette in our lives. We feel incredibly blessed. Wish us luck!

You're pregnant?! I had NO idea!!! Ha, ha. Congrats! We had so much fun with you and little Mason the other day, and if this little one follows in Mason's footsteps, he/she will be the cutest little thing ever!

Congratulations! I'm so excited for you guys :) Little babies are hard work, but so very worth it! I don't think I'd be able to stand the suspense of not knowing the gender until the birth... I had a hard time waiting till 20 weeks! But more power to you if you can! Good luck with the pregnancy!

OH, Malinda!! Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you! And we will be back in Utah, so hopefully I can see you guys more & see this new little one. How long will you be in UT? I don't get enough updates from Ari.
By the way, are we allowed to make bets on whether or not you really CAN wait until he/she's born to find out the sex? Cause you DO get awfully excited... Think of the cute little Halloween outfits, & clothes, & blankets you could be making... ;) jk

Yay! Congratulations! I've been waiting to hear this forever. I maybe heard something from my husband who talked to your husband on campus a few weeks ago...but then when there was no news, I thought maybe Jared had just imagined having a conversation with James. I'm glad he didn't! I'm so excited for you!

Congrats! But doesn't scheduling a c-section mean that you will have to really schedule it with your doctor when you move to go to vet school? Or are you staying in Provo and I missed something?

Congratulations! I am so excited for you! Mason will be such an awesome big brother. And we did hear (finally!) why you've been so absent from Church of late. Hope Mason is surviving!

Congrats Malinda. You seem a lot more confident in having kiddo #2 than I am. I'm a little stressed about it only being 8 weeks away...but excited too. Good luck with everything!
