A Midsummer Night's Eve

Mason and Poppy with their nets! James shortened Mason's net about two minutes after we started. The length was cramping Mason's frogging and bug catching style and that would NOT do. Don't they look happy?
The first night of James' Summer freedom was spent doing something that James has been aching to do ever since we got pregnant with Mason. We went hunting for bugs and frogs and whatever else could be caught in our nets! After a dry run at a nearby park that afternoon, we picked up Bryce (and a lot of deet) for our evening festivities of frogging! I don't know who was the most excited for the adventure- James because he got to teach his son the ropes, Mason because he got to be just like Poppy, or me, because of how incredibly cute it was to witness. Certainly not Bryce. He was just there to be a good uncle. Thank goodness he was because he caught the one and only toad of the night!

Holy Moly!!!!

I know I've said this before, but your Mason is one of the cutest little boys I have ever seen. You must just squeeze him all day long!

I do. I really really do. Although, now I have competition since he is gaga for the kitty now.

That last photo is absolutely adorable! That's another one you have to frame. It's so cute how much Mason is like his Poppy. I love all of your fun adventures! You need to take us on some of those sometime. :)
