Strawberry Camping

Mason loved the fishing!

Last week we Siegs went camping at Strawberry Reservoir (a lake about an hour away) and had a ball! We were lucky enough to have Kathleen with us and that made it all the better. We fished, kayaked, explored, and ate the gross food we made. D'oh (this part was particularly sad since we usually go all out for our camping meals. This time nothing turned out as planned)! We all had fun anyway. This was Mason and Gunners first camping adventure and they were both big fans. The nights were not my cup of tea, but I'll tell you more about our scares later. For now, here are a couple pictures.

Kathleen was a fishing PRO! She caught a bunch of fish. Sadly, none of them were in the size limits so we couldn't eat them. Very sad. This one was 21 inches long. Just one inch too short! Note that she caught it on Mason's fishing poll!
