Ginger, our West Virginia goose, is valiantly protecting our front step in her Easter garb
How is Easter tomorrow already?!!! I feel like we got robbed this year! We have been gearing up for the big day by stuffing our faces with Easter candy and watching movies like this. Playing with our festive bubbles and dancing with Peter Cottontail have been at the top of our list.
Mason's beloved dollar store bubble peep dispensers. He would play with them all day if he could.
Even though I am more of a salty eater, I have been having the strongest urges to make all sorts of Springtime treats. Yesterday I made the Martha Stewart marshmallow peeps from her website. Gunner approved. He ate all but four of them and then spent the remainder of the day on my bad list.
My homemade Peeps....I was going for chicks but I think Easter Aardvarks might have been my end result. What is more festive than an aardvark?
Even with the snowy weather, we Siegs are in a festive mood. I am looking forward to a cozy Easter weekend of General Conference with my men.
Mason, wearing his Easter bow tie that I had just finished for him. At first he didn't want anything to do with it but I told him that Peter Cottontail would bring him treats if he did. After that, he wouldn't take it off and insisted that I made one for his various bunny stuffed animals and the dog. Threatening with treats brings on holiday cheer every time. :)

wow! HOMEMADE peeps?? You are such a homemaker! At least you got photos of them before Gunner wolfed them down. We can't wait for the festivities to continue tomorrow afternoon with all the cousins!
oh, and a homemade bowtie...you are impressive, Malinda! Bring it tomorrow for some photos!
