Charlie snuggle-buggeling on the couch after a morning bath
Let it be known: James and I have voices for our little ones before they can use their own. I know, we're dorks and you can think whatever you please about our oddball ways. However, I must tell you that it is one of my very favorite parenting practices done in the Sieg home. Especially when James does it. He has such a quick whit and seems to be much more in tune with the goofy things that our babies like to say.
I guess I should warn that there is a time and a place for our boys to speak and conversing with people in public is certainly not that place. I found this out the hard way a while back when I met a new man at church and he asked how old Mason was. Without even thinking I said in our high-pitched baby Mason voice, "I'm ten months old!" The worst part was that I wasn't even aware that I did it until after he left and James informed me of my slip. Oops.
All the same, I still find the things our boys "say" very funny. Currently, a personal favorite is when Charlie compliments me with the ever appreciated,
"Mom's a mean Mamba-jamba!"
I still don't know what in the world that means, but it is sure to lift me out of even the darkest moods.

That's not weird...we do that too- if it is, at least you are in good company :) Too funny though, and I love that picture of little Charlie- what a cutie!!!
I'll probably end up doing the same thing when I have kids since Seth and I already do that with our dog, Dexter. lol Kind of sad.
You are so cute! Matt and I make Macy "talk" all the time too - its so fun!
