Happy Birthday, Charlie!

Today our little Char turned ONE! I can hardly believe it (apparently nobody can, since everyone remembers him being born in October)! It sure has been a treat to be Charlie's Mom this past year. Here are some tidbits about our little one-year-old.

• Charlie is nearly always happy. The only time he isn't is if he is hungry.
• He only has one and a half teeth to his name.
• He isn't a great eater. Bottles trump everything in his opposition....except for roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy. My kinda guy!
• No matter what item he finds around the floor, he will drive it around with him as he crawls. So, I guess he likes cars. That or he wants to be like Mason.
  
• Mason makes his world go round.
• Charlie interrupts his naps with a pooping break more often than not.
• Charlie has been taking steps for a month now, but still rarely walks. Not really interested.
• Nothing makes Char happier than bath time. He is a fearless bather and wiggles so much that he comes close to drowning during every session.
  
• We seem to come up with a new nick name for Charlie nearly every week.
• Charlie growls like a wild beast when life is really good.
• Charlie has been needing a haircut for a while now. Poor little chap has been sporting the homeless troll look of late.
• No matter how bad his hair looks, he is always a cutie.
• Charlie has started to enjoy books.
• Our little guy will NOT stay still to save his life. He is always on the move.
• Charlie can bee-bop with the best of them (and by them, I mean people who dance with a lot of heart but no rhythm).
