Mason and Sophie painting Bryce's pinata
James's family is here for the week and we are having a ball. Among other fun things, last night we had a belated birthday party for Uncle Bryce. As part of the celebration, Sophie and Mason decided to paint a paper mache ball (that I had previously made for some decorative idea that never happened) for a pinata. Since it wasn't made to be a pinata and had no wire to hang it with, we decided to make it a fancy kick-able pinata
Stuffing their ball/pinata
They were so pleased with their labors and especially thrilled that they had a secret to keep (although they weren't that sneaky and surprisingly enough, their uncle was able to guess what they were doing).
Hot dog!!!!
The kick-able pinata was a big hit and we have been snacking on all sorts of candy loot all weekend.

We sure are glad that we have Bryce around . Not only is he a beloved uncle, but he gives us extra reason to celebrate.

what fun! You are one of the coolest/funnest Moms ever, Malinda.
And I just LOVE Charlies hair! My boys had the same haircut when they were little, my most fave haircut on lil' boys. Makes me wish they were still that young and were fine and happy with however their Mom wanted to style their hair. :)
