Spring seems to be here and we are THRILLED!!!! Even though this has been a tremendously mild Winter, we are welcoming Spring with open arms! Already this week we have caught our first beetles, had our first bee sighting and have been romping around in the sun at every opportunity. Today James came home at the tail-end of McCabey's nap so that I could help him weigh out samples for his study. While we worked together, the boys ran around enjoying their freedom and even celebrated by taking off their boots! After McCabey-Baby woke up, Mason was put on babysitter duty (in-trade for gum) to ensure that our little man didn't run into the street (too often) or eat (too much) dirt. As much as I really do want my men to stay small, there certainly are perks to having a 4 1/2 year old! What a fun afternoon in the sun! May there be many more to follow.
Is there anything more fun than a couple of dated pairs of eye gear? Some people can wear anything and still look cute! They must take after their poppy because I knew I loved James the first time I saw him wear his glasses and I've been hooked ever since! Of course, they were different glasses.
L: Char looking fancy in some eye protection gear. R: Mason picked this little Spring ditty for his Mammy. Swoon. I recommend having sons to anyone. Especially sons who style their own hair with lotion whenever possible.
