This last Saturday started with a bang when all three boys made it clear that lounging around the house wouldn't do. Thankfully, we have a creative and fun Poppy who whisked us away to go find a wild dragon to catch with some local dragon bait (donuts). We threw on our clothes and headed out the door for our fun adventure. Some of us took the whole dragon business a little more seriously than the others:
Aunt Lindsay brought us the cutest little outfits from Hong Kong and our boys wear them around the house quite often. Char was the first to share his with the rest of the world. :)
Our boys, enjoying a pre-breakfast snack.
After we picked up our bait.....
The breakfast of champions. Note the purple sprinkles. This town has school spirit!!!!!
And snacked on some ourselves....
James is so pleased that I put this picture on here. But the world would miss out on our number one Chinese terminator! That and I need him to see exactly why I have been encouraging him to branch out from this fancy style. :)
We fiercely faced the dragon!
Once he was sufficiently tame, we moved on with our play!
I love that this boy has embraced dress up. It is the cutest thing in the world!
I guess the braid and the long robe kinda got in the way with play. Who knew?
Our three men on their mighty steeds!
Tally ho!
Mason was jumping off of every high spot he could find. Yikes! Isn't his hair amazing?!!!
L: Mason, enjoying this alternative slide. R: A storm siren! They mean business here!
McCoobleton
What a way to start the day! We sure are enjoying finding our new favorite spots around our new home!

Who knew Tom Hanks was at the park. I love being thirty with a receding hairline, double chin and living it up in Kansas!
I love James' comments - they're almost just as entertaining as the posts. ;)
You need to frame these adorable photos! Especially the last few of everyone playing and laughing in action on the playground. This makes me so excited to have three kids to play with!
You guys are so cute!!! And you are so beautiful! Love to look at your blog, you are so creative. You can tell happiness is all over in your family. What wonderful parents you guys are! Miss you guys!
Hey question. What template/format do you use for your blog. I only have 3 options for size of pictures. It seems like you have more. And I love how you can make some of your pictures so big. How could I make mine bigger?
This has to be one of my all time favorite posts! First off, I could not LOVE the dragon bait idea any more!!! What a gem of a man you have! Secondly, oh I don't know, the crazy wind-blown hair, the sandy toes, the pure delight on the kiddos' faces. Three: rat tail braids and silky robes! I'm so glad they are getting worn by some rough and tumble little boys!!! LOVE -LOVE - LOVE!!!
My favorite thing about the picture of James in the hat is his face--it seems to say, "shy wouldn't I be wearing this?" Looks like you guys are having fun!
