This Sunday morning has been a terrific one in my book! One o' clock church is my dream come true, as it turns out! It means that we get to sleep in (sorta. As much as you can with three little men), lazily eat breakfast together and then follow it up with some sort of family adventure to tire us out before church comes along. Maybe today was especially nice since I knew that since our whole house is sick, I wouldn't have to worry about the pre-church dash to get ready and out the door! Whatever the reason, I'll take it!
The leaves haven't turned colors yet, but there is a definite feeling of Fall in the air and we are LOVING it! To celebrate, Mason and I pulled out a Fall craft that we started last year and decided that we needed some dead tree branches to top it off for our decor. So our whole family got sprayed down with Deet (the bugs here are unreal) and then off we hiked right up our backyard into the woods above our house! What fun! Now that we know about that little treasure, I am certain that we will have to return with a picnic basket!

After returning from our adventuring, we helped Poppy in the kitchen:
Is there anything finer than a man who can cook?
Seriously, the BEST pizza ever!
While the pizza cooked, we played outside:
And spied on the guys cleaning up their raging party across the street:
We counted at least four huge trash-bags full of the aftermath. But seriously, we couldn't ask for more courteous college neighbors. They clean up faster than anything I have ever seen and keep the sound level low.
And this was all done before Poppy headed off to church at 1pm. Sunday's really are good for the soul!

Glad to see you are still spying on the neighbors! Some thing never change:) The real question is, have you planned any pranks for them yet??? xoxo
I've been thinking about you as the weather here has been changing to the crisp feeling of fall, as well. I wish we could have another Fall Party together! You'll have to post all of your holiday crafts so I can live through you (and maybe someday try to attempt at making some of them!).
