Yesterday I helped a friend teach a group of girls how to make mittens out of sweaters. It was a lot of fun and I was especially glad that I did it since it got me to finally make something out of my stash of sweaters in my craft pile! The cold wind has come to pay us it's Winter visit here in Manhattan this week (although, thankfully it has warmed up again today and yesterday) and I was needing a little extra cold-weather wear for my littlest man, so I went ahead and made him a scarf and a hat and a bow tie to match. He looked so snuggley and buggley that I couldn't help but grab some pictures of our soon-to-be two year old!
Boy, oh boy! We sure do adore this little man! He certainly is starting to amp it up in the tantrums every now and then, and I would be lying if I said that he is fun to take shopping (especially Joann's), but he is so happy and quirky that we don't seem to mind too much. Having his cute little smiley self around has been such a fun addition to our Sieg clan and I can't imagine a life without him!
....even if he wakes me up at 3am every night.

But brothers make life a lot more fun!
*****Thank you to all my smart friends who helped me get posting on here again! All your advice was so helpful! We started adding all of James' gmail accounts as authors to the blog and now we are up and running again!
