Gentlemen

I recently talked James' ear off about how much I love having boys and how I feel a strong need to make them the kind of men that the world needs right now. Gentlemen. I went on and on about how it is my responsibility as their mother to teach them be good, strong, and true. To teach them etiquette and refinement. In short, make them the kind of man that my future daughters-in-law will thank me for.

And then they somehow happened upon a website with fart sounds up the wazoo (thanks James) and this happened:
I have never heard them laugh so hard! They were in fart heaven. I may just be fighting an uphill battle.
 Site found here

But when they are this happy, I suppose etiquette can wait till tomorrow.
.....especially since bedtime is a dream if I use this site as leverage. "Now boys, I'll let you each take a turn picking fart sounds if you get ready for bed...." Works every time!
.....sorry future daughter-in-laws.

British lads are exactly the same - reduced to jelly by the sound of a fart. And that's when they're 60 as well as 6 :)

Boys are a joy and teaching them to be honest, true, strong and brave seems to have no relation to their love of fart noises. As a mother I have found this to be so true, as you well know. Lots of love.

hahahaha!! Those photos crack me up! You can't blame them, with James as their pops. ;)

I have no doubt your boys will grow up to be some of the highest caliber men with you guys as their parents. Will you raise our kids, too? :)

That is hilarious! My kids would love that as well. And I love that you bribe with it. I think that would be anther thing to add to the board: "As a parent, I never thought I'd..."

P.S. Tyler and I just had this conversation about raising boys too. How we raise them to be good and not loser-ee. (Totally official word). We've watched several boys not go on missions, whole groups of friends, and mental stability aside, we hope we can instill in them a sense of duty, honor, commitment, and love that will propel them to do great things. So yes, I share your desire, fart sounds and all. :)
