Up until this point I managed to steer my little men away from the wonders of Legos. Since I always seemed to have a little one crawling around the floors in search of a snack, the idea of having one more choke-able to have to watch out for just didn't seem appealing to me. But those days are done, and thank goodness, since my boys have become HUGE fans! Mason got oodles of Legos from his Aunts and Uncles to start his Lego collection this Christmas and we will never be the same. Even little Coobie can't get enough! The other night we peeked in on the boys and found McCabe a-snooze on top of a large pile of Lego goodness. We love Legos!
The other night we had a Lego building contest for family home evening and we had so much fun trying to best each other with our hair-brained vehicles.
James was going for size
Mason was quite pleased with the cool tail on his race car. It flapped up and down and he was sure to let everyone know it!
Legos = Joy
The first of many building attempts
Look at that concentration!
This was mine. Clearly I should have won.
It was a close call so we had to give at various awards that best suited the contestants. I can't remember what they were, but in the end we were all happy! Especially Mason who was the self-proclaimed winner of them all!

What a fun FHE idea! Marshall would be so proud. Sydney and Max finally have become really interested in the medium-size legos we've had for a long time. I didn't think they'd be able to figure out how to build with the teeny size...but maybe your and Marshall's kids are just a little bit brighter... :)
I loved those pictures- I especially loved your creation. :)
