Sneaky Coobie

Coobie in his Happy Lion shirt that I made him earlier this Summer

The other night the boys were having a hard time going to bed. After our nightly routine they were bouncing off the walls and even our very best efforts/threats didn't work for the longest time. After a very long while, the room started to quiet until just one lone wolf remained awake. We might have been fooled into thinking that every mischief-maker was slumbering softly if it wasn't for the chubby little fingers that were wiggling under the door in hopes of pestering our dog, Huckleberry, into keeping him company. After witnessing the crime for a moment or two, James mustered up the sternest voice he could and called out, "Is that Charlie or McCabe?"
After a very pregnant pause, we heard a quiet little Coobie voice say, "Charie."
It is hard to be sneaky when you are two.

This was the most precious story. I'm sure neither of you could even be mad when he was oh so cute and funny. I can't wait to have my own little sneak :)

hahahaha! Oh, my, he is both smart and hilarious. And sneaky like his mama was when she was little. :) And that shirt is awesome! How did you do that??
