Strawberry

Strawberry Reservoir has has been a favorite camping spot for our family ever since the Summer after James and I got married. Since we were running so far ahead of schedule, we decided to stop in for one last night before heading into Utah County for all of the wedding festivities. We  were so glad that we did because even though it rained on us there, too, we had such a great time. We haven't camped there since Charlie was our little baby and Coobie was in utero so it was really neat to take them back. Especially since we got to stay in the very same campground! Best of all though, was that Bryce and Jane Anne got to come up and visit with us for a couple hours. That was a real treat since we don't get to ever see them and Bryce is forever a favorite in our family. We miss living so close and seeing him several times a week. So yet again, thank you Strawberry for being so good to our family! We'll see you again!

Brothers

Mason and I spotted a little chipmunk and had to take this picture for chipmunk Char.

A fire! This was the first of the week since there was so much rain.

One of my favorite things about camping is snuggling together in our tent. Somehow it is so much more fun than when the three boys crash on our floor in the middle of the night.

All of the comfy sleeping bags is perfect for an early morning wrestle fight.

Exploring

Mason wowed us all with a crawdad.

Coobie liked it, too.

Packing up.

Coobie adores Huckleberry. His crushing hugs make up for the fact that Huckle nibbles on him throughout the day.

Char is ever the romantic.

Huckle was so small!

We love Strawberry Reservoir!
And we loved that the lake water was actually clear and blue. We were shocked to see it after getting used to the brown water out here in Kansas.

That first photo of Mason in the kelp needs to be framed! So adorable - and all of your photos look so great! I wish we could've joined in on the camping fun. Let's plan a family camping trip next summer in Yosemite!
