Easter was a happy holiday in our Sieg home.
We started off the celebrations with a party with some of our friends:
The Boyles have an Easter party every year and a three-legged race is always included.
Brothers make the best friends
Red rover. I never could play this game but the boys had no problem taking hard hits
Hunting for eggs is serious business!
L: Char on the hunt. R: Coobie compares eggs with Lucy
Enjoying the spoils
Easter morning started off with clues from the Easter Bunny who always draws fun pictures to help us find out loot.
The Easter Bunny always did this for my family while I was growing up and we are glad that she has kept the tradition going!
I know that this left picture is blurry and not very good, but I just love the way it captured Charlie's sleepy/thrilled expression!

Coobie and some of his loot. McCabe is REALLY into the Creature of the Black Lagoon (That he calls the Creature of the Black Magoon) so the Easter Bunny went through a LOT of trouble to find a lego version of it....but Coobie thought that the coloring was a bit better. The Easter Bunny has it hard.
After our basket fun, we got fancy and headed off to church. But of course, not until I snapped a zillion pictures of my boys in their carrots:
I'll be so sad when they stop wearing them.
Mason and his missing front tooth.
Char
Coobie in all of his glory! This left picture just cracks me up and reminds me of a caricature I once saw of Clark Gable.
After church, we whipped up an Easter feast....but this was the only picture that we have of that all:
Char helped me make my mom's orange rolls.
After our meal, we headed off to one of our favorite spots at Tuttle Creek for a stroll:
Exploring is a must for every good Sieg family stroll
Coobie, trying out his new bug-catcher!
L: Signs of beavers. R: Huckle had some serious retrieving skills!
L: James and Coobie, recreating The Lion King. R: Char, looking for fossils.
L: Char with a find. R: Mason in his element.
It was a good Easter!
