Today James actually had relatively free from school and work and so we headed up to see Grandma Osborn. What a nice day it was! She is one of the most mild, sincere, and loving people I have ever met. I don't think a person could NOT like her. I am lucky enough to have two wonderful grandma's, but I'm especially lucky that one of them lives so close by. We stole her away for a fun afternoon of lunch at James favorite Chipotle, a drive up the canyon, and then finished off with a fun game of boggle...that of course she beat us both at. Mason was a sport, even though he couldn't eat much at lunch, couldn't see the pretty scenery on our long drive, and couldn't quite catch on to Boggle. His high point was when he got to play with the chickens that stay in my uncle and aunt's back yard. He is a fearless little chap! In the video attached, you'll see that he thought the little chicken was giving him kisses. Funny boy. :)

That is, hands down, one of the cutest things I have ever seen. And his little face when the chicken walked away--it was like, "hey, where'd my friend go?" He is so cute I can hardly stand it!
I know we all keep saying it, but Mason really is so cute! I love how he kept leaning in for a kiss from the chicken and giggling (c: So sweet!
The chicken has nothing on your grandma. I think she is the cutest thing ever. I might be biased. A little.
That is the cutest video ever! I love how he wanted to kiss the chicken. I just love how adorable they are at this age!!!
Oh my gosh he is so dang cute! I can't believe you would go to Chipotle with cafe rio around. There are tons of Chipotles here but no cafe rio. Maybe I need to give chipotle another try. Anyways I know this is weird but I can't believe he is in size 3 diapers. I saw the diaper size in the picture of him in the kitchen. I know I am weird. Brynna is totally in size 5 and seriously might get size 6 next time I buy diapers. Oh and I refuse to believe your son turns 1 year this month. CRAZY! Where does time go. I miss you.
SO adorable. That video was almost painfully sweet. I have to agree with everyone else -- though it's been said time and time again, Mason has got to be one of THE cutest kids EVER. (I'm sure you never tire of hearing it, though, do you, Mom?) :)
