After a year and a half, our little guide dog left us to return to California for further training. I would be lying if I said I was heartbroken, as he was a big pain in my hiney. However, I did feel pretty emotional sending him off at the airport where I picked him up last summer. I am mostly sad for Mason, since he won't have his "yellow brother" around to feed, poke, kiss and hug. Plus, this means more cleanup work for me, now that I don't have Layton fallowing Mason around for free food. We hope that he passes and gets to help someone in need out. We'll see.
Layton, as a little puppy. His ear is green from his tatoo. He is bad to the bone.

Relaxing time on the couch with our little ones.

I'm so sad! We didn't get to say goodbye! I love these puppy pictures -he's a beautiful dog. I hope he passes, so that all your hard work will be for a good cause. But we're going to have to go puppy shopping now... :)
Glad we got to spend some time with this guy! I was vacuuming my car just the other day and came across some of his hair and thought about him. Hope he passes with flying colors! Good luck with the clean up, I didn't realize how much they help out until Cooper was gone. :(
Oh I remember when you first got Layton. Cutest puppy ever. I love that pic of Mason and Layton in the back of the truck.
Sniff. You know how I love the canine type. What a beauty! I love that breed! And he looks so cute with your adorable little guy.
That is so crazy - I remember when you brought him to that RS activity and we stayed late and talked for hours! Oh how I miss those days!! I hope you are doing well, your little boy is getting so big! We should do something together sometime!
