For those of you who don't know, there is a wonderful woman in this world named, Nie (Short for Stephanie Nielson). I have never met her in person, but I find her blog very refreshing and inspiring and I sense that we are kindred spirits. Sadly, this Summer, she and her beloved husband got into a very serious plane accident and have suffered from major burns. They are both currently recovering, but are still in need of love, prayers, and help with the bills. For this reason, a benefit concert is being held for her next month, here in Provo Utah. If any of you can, please come! I would love to see some long lost friends!
Also, I am donating one of my figurines for the silent auction that they will be holding for the event. Wish me luck. I sure would feel like a fool if I pull in zippo for the cause.
Speaking of wishing luck, we got a letter today from Washington State University! They have invited Jamesy in for a Vet School interview! To top it off, it will be on our nephew, Logan's, birthday! That has to be a good sign, right? At any rate, prayers would be most appreciated. Especially on February 11th at 3:15ish. Thank you!!!!

YAY! YAY! YAY! I'm jumping up and down right now in honor of James, and the date of the interview. Of course, IT'S MEANT TO BE!!! We are so excited! YAY! YAY! YAY! WHoooooo-Hoooooo. Super-duper. I wish I heard the news in person, so I could hug you guys. I'll save that for our next visit when you tell us he's in!
Congratulations on the interview! He's going to do great. I'm so proud of James -proud of all you guys!
I'm sad to see the adorable v-day figurine leave, but so happy it's for a good cause. Everyone's going to love it.
And Mason...I miss his cute little mop of hair. But he always manages to be one of the cutest little kiddos on earth. However, I might have to hide the shears from James for a while...
Here here on the Nie blog. I've been following her for awhile too...
And Washington is SO great!! I hope things go well with his interview!!!
