Mr. Spirituality
Look what our little fella picked up! He's pretty proud of himself, too, as you can see with his little smirk. He cracks me up! I remember hearing friends talk about how their kids started to pray, and I wondered if I would ever be a good enough or a consistent enough example to rub off on Mason. Then, about a week ago, Mason started squeezing his eyes tightly. Next thing we knew, he was in full-blown prayer mode....for about 15 seconds at a time. So cute! Don't worry, this picture was not taken during an actual prayer. Mason is so spiritual, and my cooking is so delectable, that every now and then, he breaks into prayer mid-meal to show off his gratitude.
On another note, as we have now had our new dog for over 24 hours, here are some things we have learned about him.
-He loves Mason and follows him around the house.
-He cleans up all the food Mason drops as he roams.
-He hasn't had an accident in the house once. He might be potty-trained already! (woohoo!!!!)
-He sheds (Dang it)
-He doesn't like to go to the bathroom on a leash. But seeing as running away was how he got into the pound in the first place, we have no choice.
-We still can't think of a good name for him.
-Last but not least....HE DOESN'T BARK!!!!!! He has had many opportunities, and he didn't bark once. Traloo-tralay!! Maybe he IS our dream dog?!!!

So cute! I love it when little kids are learning how to pray. And cute doggy. He sounds awesome!Except for the shedding it sounds like my kind of dog!!
He is such a cutie!!! I LOVE his little smirk!!!
How sweet!! You guys are great parents. The new dog seems to be working out well.
I love it when they fold their arms, I have such a hard time keeping my eyes shut because Jack looks so adorable during pray time.
