James has been begging to get a couple little baby chicks for quite a while now. He brings it up in such a subtle way and so often that I suppose I am plain worn down. Last night I gave in and we bought three cute little chicks at the nearby IFA (One of James' favorite farm stores. Yeehaw). Once we saw them, we all fell fast in love with the little fluff balls. What a perfect early Easter present (if they make it that long. Mason is a little too loving)! If we weren't quite ready for this upcoming holiday already, we certainly are now!
I named my little lass Samantha, James named his Colonel Sandra (female version of Sanders), and Mason's is Nugget (but he usually calls him "Oh!") James thinks that he is going to be able to eat them all in a couple months but I just don't see how that could happen. We named them and everything!
James told me as we drove home with our new little brood, that I am an enabler. I let him get away with his crazy farmy dreams. I guess I just can't resist his charm. He says next up he is going to bring home a calf. Yikes.

Those chicks are the most adorable things ever!!!! How fun! But why did James want them so badly? What are his future plans for these fluffies?
