Towards the end of our second year together, we went to a Liberty Square dance and met up with some old friends/FHE brothers from the year before. With them was their roommate, Jon, who we never got the chance to know. Although we had heard he was a good guy, we still held a grudge against him after he destroyed our efforts to sneak a bunch of old Christmas trees into his apartment late one night. There must have been magic in the air that night because not only did we forgive our new friend, but Lindsay also invited him over for some of her famous homemade oreo cookies and to talk about music. After that fateful night we heard Lindsay speak of little else other than Jon and would often catch her laying on her bed while listening to Coldplay (the band he recommended to her before they were big) with a dreamy smile on her face.

The day they were sealed to Naomi in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple
That was eight years ago. Since then they have gotten married, gone to law school, lived in Chicago, and nearly three years ago had the blessing of adopting one of the cutest and happiest girls I have ever met. Like Lindsay, little Naomi just sparkles and you can tell she too is up for any sort of adventure. The Cowleys just recently moved to Northern California and are wanting so badly to be able to have their family grow. However, because of the recent move, they are having to start the adoption process practically from scratch and are worried that this will make things even harder and take even longer to be joined by another little baby.
I wanted to introduce you all to them so that if by chance you know of anyone looking for a good home to adopt a little one, you could keep them in mind. Adoption is so much by word of mouth and so I figured the more people who know them the better. I love the Cowleys. They are warm, inviting, cultured and kind-just the kind of family that a little baby needs. To get to know them better, check out their blogs.

They really are such an adorable, sweet family. Thanks for sharing -I'll try to spread the word and keep my ears open.
