The other day I got the great idea to buy a bunch of strawberries for strawberry freezer jam. Then I realized that that brainy idea would take work and I stuck the berries in the fridge for a later and more energized day. Unfortunately, that day never came. It wasn't until they were nearly rotten that I pulled them out of the fridge to work my magic. At that point, Mason and I blended them up and popped them in the freezer for a Summertime snack. One of these days I'll learn my lesson about procrastinating, but not today. They were a treat indeed! Even my otter pop fan liked them!

Sad proof that we don't always get dressed until the afternoon....and that I still wear my frumpy robe.
Now, when the weather is warm and we are in the mood for a mid-morning snack, we pull these bad-boys out of the freezer and have some good mother/son bonding.

Who knows what we will (let sit too long in the fridge and) turn into popsicles next!

Nacho Libre?! I thought I was the only guilty-pleasure-loving fan. I snort through most of it.
And, yes, I know your blog hasn't anything to with this fine classic, but I was reading your profile. Go stretchy pants!
Hahaha...that face! Great timing in catching the sour-pucker shot. Those look yummy, too! They must be really good if Mason approves of them (since he's the Otter Pop king). You'll have to show me how. I might even have some rotting fruit in my fridge right now.
i love homemade popsicles!! we have gone through a few batches ourselves.
Love the pictures. I've been guilty of doing that before...buying bunches of strawberries and letting them go to waste...good idea for the homemade popcicles.
