Fall leaves and apples

Charlie, enjoying a good apple in his swing
Fall has nearly come and gone and I have no idea where it went. The other day it snowed and I caught Mason singing, "It's a Marshmallow Day in the Winter."As much as I don't approve of Christmas music before Thanksgiving, I thought it was charming. Of course, that is mostly because it happened BEFORE Mason had the tantrum of the century at the playgroup we attended and BEFORE I almost lost it altogether.....yikes. (Let's see how many people invite us over to play now- it's all about first impressions).

I am sad to see Fall go, especially since I spent nearly the whole season amping up for Halloween and trying to make sure this little baby doesn't come too early. Days like this one in the pictures remind me why Fall is my favorite season. Even though our landlord takes his job of raking up the leaves on the lawn WAY too seriously, we were able to enjoy an hour of a blustery October day with our leaves before he stole them away.

You can't really tell, but leaves were falling EVERYWHERE! Mason was doing his best to catch them.

My boys love the apples that grow on the tree outside.

Mason, preparing Char for "The Spin of Death." Those pajamas sure are handy to hold on to! Maybe I'll say that is why they are both in their dinosaurs at three in the afternoon. D'oh!

Isaac loves his pajamas. He spontaneously changes into his pajamas throughout the day.

So cute! I love Charlies cute little grin as he's eating an apple. I love the fall too. So many fun things to do. Just wish it would stay around longer.
