DJ Sir Mix-a-lot

These last so many weeks have been a little rough around Green Gables (the Sieg home). I am now at 33 weeks, but at 27 weeks I had an early labor scare. Since then, I have had to take it very easy to make sure that our little chap stays in. This means that me and the boys stay home nearly 98% of the time and hang out in our pajamas. Needless to say, we are all suffering from cabin fever. By the end of the day, the three of us are on the brink of going crazy. Thankfully, that is just when Poppy comes home. This is always a happy time, but the other day it was especially nice.

Don't you like Mason's fancy hip swivel saunter?
That evening, James could tell that I was all the way spent, the boys were wound tight, and that we could all use a little loosening up. Without saying anything, he turned on the playlist on our computer and started a dance party. Within minutes, we were all busting out our best moves. Even though I had to tone down all of my pizazz, even Miss Bulbous Belly shook her booty. Traloo-tralay! Boy do we love DJ Sir Mix-a-lot(aka Poppy).

Charlie, sporting a halo for the Beyonce song that lifts my soul every time I hear it. I know when James is worried about me because he turns that song on. :)

I wonder if there is anything more rejuvenating than a spur of the moment dance party?

You need to get a plastic skeleton for your dance parties. You could always store it in the closet, it would come in quite handy at times like this. :) Can't wait to see baby #3!!!

That is so cute & endearing. I imagine I'll need lots of those in the future.
