Our little Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin
The other night Char had his first visit to the emergency room. Apparently, we are not the only ones who love Poppy and get excited for his homecoming. Gunner got so excited that he bounced around like an 82-pound buffoon and accidently sent Charlie flying into our kitchen chair. It was heart-wrenching to see him screaming while he was strapped into a baby stretcher and pinned by several nurses. They were amazed at the lungs our little fighter has. He screamed the entire time they stitched him up. It was tragic. However, six stiches later, he is doing just fine.

In fact, he seems to be rather pleased with himself. He thinks that his mustache is proof that he has hit puberty (he pronounces it, "pooberty") and likes to lord his maturity over his late-blooming older brother. He is hoping to get a chance to show off his facial hair to all of his toddler friends. We are just so grateful that he is safe that we don't have the heart to tell him that the Adolph Hitler/Charlie Chaplin look went out of style years ago.

Charlie, with his emergency room glove balloon.

Mason wanted in on the photo shoot. I don't know what is more tragic looking, Charlie's stitches or Mason's haircut.....or I guess my frumptastic look. Yikes!

Aren't children great, they bounce back so quickly! Lucky Mason is so good looking or we would have to drive to Utah to kill the barber. Love, Mom & Dad

Oh, Malinda, your posts always make me laugh so hard. You have the cutest sense of humor! But YIKES, poor little Charlie! I got shivers reading about his little incident. I am NOT going to do well with that bit of motherhood, I'm afraid. I can't handle that kind of stuff!!! Glad the little man is doing all right though, and boy, he sure looks adorable with that little "mustache".

So you're due reeeeally soon, right? The big #3!!! Can't even believe it. I'm secretly a little (maybe a lot) jealous. I wonder when we'll crack... haha

Good luck with everything! Sorry you've been stuck on bed rest, but I hope you don't have to deal with that much longer!
