We heard through the grapevine that Utah State University was going to be having Aggie days on campus to help people learn more about the agriculture department. Wednesday promised pony rides, so we figured it was a children's activity and were sure to make it to the event on time to beat the crowds. When we showed up, the "ponies" were amazingly HUGE horses and our boys were the only kids in site! Hot dog! This meant that not only did we get the cowgirls all to ourselves, but our boys felt mighty studly while they rode in circles around the grassy area on their giant horses. What a fun way to start the day!
The boys, waiting for the fun to begin
Mason, getting ready to ride Pheasant. He was some sort of Clydesdale cross and was massive.
Ooh-haw!
Charlow was next. His helmet fit like a glove. :)
Getting acquainted with his steed
Getting comfy on his saddle
Looking stately! This boy takes himself way too seriously. :) Oh, and that isn't chew in his mouth. He's teething again but this time he isn't getting fevers and throwing tantrums. This time round he just doesn't swallow his spit. Try to explain that in a normal way to people who are trying to get him to talk....
And he's off!
Mason, in his duds. He picked his outfit out himself, including the cowboy boots that are hiding behind his chaps.
