Now THIS is fishing!

 This afternoon we headed to Hyrum Reservior for more fishing. James loves fishing and has past this on to his little men! Although we all generally enjoy our fishing outings, today was extra fun because the fish were biting like crazy! It was such a treat to see the boys giddy with excitement as they reeled them in. After the initial excitement, they sweetly petted their little fish friends to death and oohed and ahhed over how pretty they were. Little Mason sang a happy little tune with the lyrics, "I'm a fisherman! I'm a fisherman!" and Char beamed right along side him. McCabe had a ball watching all of the fish but every now and then took to the hills for an (attempted) evening hike. What a day! We are so grateful to those little fish for making our day and for being such a tasty dinner!

I was just as thrilled as the boys were! McCabe liked the other fish better than this catch because this little fella whacked him in the face with his little tail. Maybe it could sense that he was the culprit who reeled him in?
