L: Thanks to Jennie showing us how, I actually learned how to do flower arrangements! R: Caitlin. Isn't she a doll?!
Besides wanting to see family, our main reason for heading out to Utah was for my sister Kathleen's wedding! What a happy time! Her husband is such a great guy and we are thrilled to have him in our family! Kathleen wanted to have a reception before the actual wedding to make her real wedding day less stressful and I thought it went so well! My mom and my sister Aria were the masterminds behind it and the rest of us were the little working bees. As we were getting it all set up a huge storm blew in and we had to take everything back down again and hope and pray for the best. A river of water was pouring down the street and it even hailed! Thankfully, about an hour before the party started, the sun came out to play and dried everything up right in the nick of time! Hot dog! Thank goodness because it really was a dreamy reception!
And how handy that Aria is such an amazing photographer because all of the wedding events were documented so beautifully! All of the pictures in this post were taken by her and you can see even more here. Thanks, Ari!

I was in charge of making about 60-70 of those tissue paper pom poms and it was all worth it when they were hanging from the lights!

Cousin Bridget and Noah. I love her.
The following Monday we headed down to Salt Lake City for the actual wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. This temple is extra special because it is situated on Temple Square and was one of the first handful of temples built since the church of Jesus Christ was restored. When you are married in the temple we believe that you are sealed together for not only this life but for eternity and that is one of the reasons that temples are so special to us. Nothing is more special than families and I am so glad that I get to be with mine forever. Kathleen and David's sealing was beautiful and it was neat to be there with my whole family.
