Our second start to the day found our whole house decorated for our birthday boy and he was thrilled!
Coobie was of course wearing his zebra pants at the time
We even found zebra balloons for our zebra lover
For breakfast, we had Rudolph pancakes:
Every good Rudolph pancake needs extra sugary sprinkles
In the afternoon, we headed over to the one theater in town and watched Frozen so that we could fit in with the rest of America. Coobie was smitten!
After the movie, we headed home for cake and ice cream and presents galore!
Zebra cake!
When it was time to open presents, we wrapped his first present in a leftover diaper we had and told him that it was a dirty baby Agnus diaper (a cute little girl in our ward that we would watch from time to time). We didn't realize that it would make him cry. Whoops! Luckily, once he found his zebra toy inside, his cheery mood returned and forgave us.
Another let-down came when he got a huge package from California that mostly was filled with a skunk costume that we loaned out and was returned with his present.
McCabe wanted a Rudolph pinata so we did our best to deliver.
Since it was so cold again outside, we beat his little rudolph to a pulp indoors.
It was a happy day! We love our McCabe!
