Pete Winward Reservoir
One Saturday in the beginning of June was especially hot so our little Sieg family headed up to the mountains to visit our very favorite lake. James and I found it about four years ago when we were out hiking and we have made a point to revisit it ever since. This time we had the whole lake to ourselves until a family on horseback rode through for a bit. It was heavenly!

Mason and his frog friend. Notice that his left fist is clenched. He had about ten bugs in his hand that he wasn't ready to say good-bye to yet.

ahhh!!!! mason is too cool and so is his mama because i know i'm too OCD about bugs to let tama hold bugs in his hands like that! i know i'm going to have to let it go soon though because that's just what boys do!
What a beautiful place! Mason and that frog sure are cute!
That last picture is seriously the best picture EVER! I love it!
