Last Friday we met up with Aria and her family at Provo's Freedom Festival and poked around at the sights. James had just finished his last day working mandatory overtime (we have missed him SO much) so we were ready to play!
We jumped on inflated things:

Mason and Sydney enjoying one of the free attractions.
We bought over-priced food:

The lady at this stand was intent on us using her token system as proof that we had already paid so that she wouldn't forget in the 40 seconds it took to make our order. We were the only people in line.
At one point we visited a booth run by the Boy Scouting organization. They let you do outdoorsy things to get you in the mood for real scouting. James thought that the two-man log cutting activity looked exciting so we parked Char at out side and went to town. While we were cutting, we asked Mason if this was fun or boring. He plainly stated that this activity was boring and then sat down by Char to watch his parents look pathetic as we merrily sawed away. However, before he ditched us, we asked the young lady at the stand to take a picture of our family cutting the wood. Apparently she thinks my men are as good-looking as I do because this is how our two pictures turned out(very Hand that Rocks the Cradle):
Yikes! I guess you have to watch out for those hootchy scouting women. By the look on Charlie's face below, I am guessing he agrees.

lol...i love how you're missing from the picture. and you don't look haggard! Although, that's coming from someone sitting in their sweats, unshowered, at 5 in the afternoon. yep, that's me! the definition of new mom. will i ever feel like wearing regular clothes???
Your cute sense of humor always makes me giggle. Love people on power trips (token systems) even when it makes no sense. Looks like you guys had fun!
hahaha! the token lady was hilarious! i couldn't' believe she actually made you hand it back to her. And the boy scout lady and the pictures...that made me laugh out loud. And Charlie's face! Hahahaha...this post made my night.
